We are always looking for great people.

Currently, we run 3 internships of 12 weeks each in the Spring, Summer, and Fall for college and graduate school students. Students are paired with one of our focus areas: venture, dental, or buyout. We meet weekly and the 12-week program culminates in a final project presentation to the group of 20 slides on a specific topic.

Spring: January 30 - April 24

Summer: June 12 - August 31

Fall: September 18 - December 11

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for each cohort.

We have a rich history of this program, with over 30 students from across the US participating. We operate evenings Pacific time for our weekly meetings, so you need to be available for that and for 10+ hours per week. It is a remote position.

Sourcers

Who You Are:

Sourcers are a critical part of our investment process. As a Sourcer, you will get the opportunity to work on the ground floor of an emerging investment platform. We are committed to your development and learning in this experience.

We are looking for Sourcers to help us find, evaluate, and acquire profitable companies to acquire. We are acquiring two types of companies:

1. Technology companies in the US. We are focused on vertical market software companies doing $2m+ in annual revenue that are founder run with 20+ employees. 
2. Dental practices. We are sourcing profitable dental practices to acquire in Ventura County using the same approach.

Selectively, we invest in minority rounds of venture backed technology companies.

Our mission is to prove that vertical software is valuable and can make business easier. We are building a repeatable process to profitably grow these companies over time.

Deliverables:

• Talk to 3 bootstrapped, profitable technology companies in the US each week and add them to our CRM
• Source 3 dental practices per week that fit our criteria in our region of focus
• Weekly email and phone nurturing of your pipeline 
• Find new brokers / channels to source

Commitment:

• 10 hours per week
• 30 minute weekly team meeting
• Rest of the time sourcing new companies, following up with your existing ones, and conducting diligence
• At least 3 months 

What you will learn:

• Sourcing - How to source technology investments creatively
• Execution - How to value / underwrite and what information is important in deal analysis
• Communication - How to interface directly with management teams
